Anna Lisa Casale La Pierre, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, surrounded by her cherished family.

 Born on September 4, 1952, in Campobasso, Italy, Anna’s journey began with courage and hope. At just nine years old, she immigrated to the United States, arriving at Ellis Island and soon finding a loving home with her adoptive parents, John and Helen Regazzi, in Madison, New Jersey. Anna attended Our Lady of Grace in Morristown and later pursued her passion for beauty at Paternos Beauty School.

 In the early 1970s, Anna met Chester L. LaPierre, Jr., and together they built a life filled with love and devotion. Their marriage at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in Roselle, New Jersey, was blessed with five children—four sons and one treasured daughter. Anna’s nurturing spirit extended beyond her own family; she was known as the “neighborhood mom,” always ready to offer a meal, shelter, or heartfelt advice to anyone in need. 

Anna’s warmth, honesty, and charisma touched everyone she met. She dedicated herself to raising her family, finding joy in cooking, gardening, reading, watching classic films, and searching for hidden treasures in second-hand stores. Above all, Anna’s greatest happiness came from spending time with her children and grandchildren, offering them unwavering love and guidance. 

Anna is survived by her sons Chester (Fatihah), Lawrence (Darnéa), Romain (Kimberly), Anthony ( Jenny), her beloved daughter Lisa La Pierre, bonus daughters Fatihah Bethune, and Kimberly Gibson and grandchildren TéSean, Hasson, Justin, David, Asiya, Isaiah, Madison, Lawren, Chloe, Brooklynn, Asaad, Zayn, Omari, and Emaan, great-grandson Kasey, sisters and brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Her kindness, strength, and generosity will be remembered by all who knew her. Anna’s legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and the many lives she touched.
