Audrey Lee Satterfield affectionately known as Bobby was born on January 9, 1939, in Person County, NC to the late Zelma and Vivian C. Satterfield.

He departed this life on Friday, October 27, 2023, one day after his 60th wedding anniversary, with his wife and sons at his side.

Bobby graduated from Person County HS. He held membership at Lawson Chapel Church.

His early years were spent farming with his family in North Carolina until relocating to New Jersey.

He was a successful businessman who owned and operated Bobby Trucking Services LLC. for nearly 50 years. During this time he became an excellent (self taught) mechanic,

often rebuilding engines for his friends. He was a devoted husband and family man. This was demonstrated by the way in which he lived his life.

There were very few things Bobby enjoyed more than spending time in North Carolina with family and friends.

Bobby hosted a yearly Labor Day cookout that became a family and friend’s favorite. Bobby enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and a good game of Bid Whist.

Bobby was preceded in death by his loving daughter Anita Satterfield, brothers Nebuchadnezzar and Curtis Satterfield, sisters Katherine Jones, and Malinda Dawson. 

He leaves to preserve his legacy a devoted wife, Peggy Satterfield of his home; two sons Antonie Satterfield (Lynelle) of Willingboro, NJ, and Christopher Satterfield of Linden NJ

his sister Lona Mitchell of Georgia. Three Grandsons; Dante Townes Jarrid and Jordan Satterfield. One granddaughter Jenelle Satterfield and one great-granddaughter Kiara Satterfield.
