Bennie “Pie” Dixon born November 06, 1940 in Woodrow, South Carolina peacefully departed this life surrounded by loved ones on September 27, 2025. Bennie was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend—a true family man all around—whose kindness, humor, and hardworking spirit touched everyone who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pensacola Dixon, whom he married on January 9, 1960; his daughter, Keesha Dixon; and his parents, Corrine Johnson and Isaiah Dixon.
Bennie was a proud retiree of Safety Kleen, known today as Clean Harbors, where he dedicated many decades of loyal service. He took great pride in his work and was well-respected by his colleagues for his reliability and easygoing nature.
To those who knew him best, Bennie—affectionately known as “Pie”—was more than a friend; he was family. He was a loving and devoted man whose care and compassion extended to everyone around him.
He leaves behind a host of family, friends, and loved ones who will forever cherish his memory, his laughter, and his unwavering love.
Though he may be gone from our sight, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
