Harvey Eugene Cain, born on October 29, 1953, in Glenville, Georgia, to Annie Lee Williams and Leroy Cain, departed this life on September 6, 2025.
Harvey lived a life full of joy, music, and laughter. He was a gifted singer and spent many years performing with the group Spank. Among his favorite songs to perform was the beloved tune “In the Jungle”, which he brought to life with his vibrant voice and passion for music.
Harvey was also known for his sense of humor and quick wit. A natural jokester, he brought smiles and laughter wherever he went. With his comedic timing and lighthearted spirit, he could brighten any room and lift the hearts of those around him—he truly could have been a comedian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie Lee Cain and Leroy Cain; his brother, Leroy Cain Jr.; his sister, Annie Ruth Cain; his nephew Lawrence Cain and great-niece, Izhira Yorel.
Harvey leaves to cherish his memory; brother, Mitchell Cain, and sister-in-law, Wendy Belvin Cain. His neices Tujuana Swain, Atiyyah Cain, Shonelle Melford and husband Jason Melford and Chanequa Cain. His nephews Dion Cain and Jahmir Cain along with a host of great nieces, great nephews, extended family, and friends who loved him dearly.
Harvey’s memory will live on in the joy he brought to others, the music he shared, and the countless moments of laughter that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
