Obituary

Madihah Amirah Brown was born in Newark, NJ on January 29, 1983 to Anthony Kearney and Lisa Brown. On March 1, 2026, Madihah peacefully transitioned at her home surrounded by her beloved parents.

She was educated in the East Orange school system where she ran track for VLD. Later transferring to the Essex County School District, Madihah graduated from Newark Tech in 2001.

She was baptized at the New Hope Baptist Church in February 2000. She later joined Cross and Crown Christian Church, under the leadership of John and Lula Baker where she remained a faithful member until her transition.

Madihah’s nurturing spirit drew her to the medical profession. She attended New Community Technical Institute and earned her certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Madihah started her career at the Brookhaven Nursing home in East Orange, New Jerseyand in 2014, she became employed at Atlantic Health Systems at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey where she remained.

Madihah was an advid cook and exceptional baker, taking after her grandmother June Rogers. She was a family woman, who loved her family and friends dearly. She enjoyed traveling and going on family vacations and was known for being the "life of the party.”

Madihah’s children kept her heart beating. Her motherhood journey began in 2005 with the birth of her first son Quamir. In 2008, she birthed her set of twins, Elijah and Isaiah. Finally, her baby boy Aaayan was born in 2013. With every child birth came great joy and new surprises. Her presence in their life strengthened their bond and shaped them to be who they are today. Madihah sacrificed to ensure her boys always had everything they needed and encouraged them to take care of one another.

Madihah was a ’superfan’ for her boys and was always supporting their extracurricular activities.
