Obituary

William “Kenny” Kenneth Belton was born on October 28, 1971, to Alma Jean Lemons- Belton and the late Moses Belton, William “Kenny” Kenneth Belton was a devoted husband to Sybil Burton- Belton and father to Myesha, Quenten, William Jr., and Kenneth. He was suddenly called home to glory on May 29, 2026. He was educated in Newark Public School system and attended Bragaw Avenue School, Louise A. Spencer and played football as a running back and linebacker for Weequahic High School, which he later graduated from. He began his long-term career at Atlantic Metal which he did welding. He later worked as a conveyor belt supervisor for Oxford Airport Technical Services and later worked for Siemens. Kenny was a guy of many trades and worked well with his hands. He was also a Crew Director for Green Boys Paving. Kenny was incredibly gifted and a hard worker. Kenny was raised in the church at Trinity Church of The Living God, in Newark, NJ. Later baptized at New United Baptist Church in Newark, NJ. As an adult, he recommitted his life to Christ at Abyssinian Baptist Church in Newark, NJ. Kenny was a hard-core Giants fan. He also, was a faithful and dedicated member of the Truck, Car, & Bike Show for over 18 years. He was well loved by everyone that knew him. Kenny was a part of a close-knit family. Kenny loved his children with all his heart. He was often the life of the party and a total jokester. He proceeds in death by his father (Moses Belton), his grandparents (Melvin & Rose Lemons / Thomas and Carrie Belton). His nephew Randee Franklin and God daughter Maliyah Joseph. Kenny leaves to cherish not only in memories but to carry on his legacy. His wife (Sybil Burton- Belton). His daughter (Myesha Belton), his sons (Quenten Belton, William “KJ” Belton Jr., and Kenneth “KB” Belton). His granddaughters (Tiana Barnett and Jayda Mackey). His mother (Alma Lemons- Belton), his siblings (Dennis Belton, Ronald Belton, Michelle (Randee) Franklin, Moses Belton & Anthony (Danita) Belton. His sister-in-law (Karen Outlaw- McLean) & brother-in-law (Lawrence (Tyrese) Outlaw. And a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.
