Zachurie Edmond was born on January 25,1968 in Elizabeth NJ to Oscar Ward and Mabel Edmond. Affectionately known as “Khalif” “Kool K” or “Kory”. He attended public schools and graduated from Elizabeth High School in 1986.

After graduating high school, he worked for Waste Management for the City of Elizabeth and ended his maintenance career at Ocean State Job Lot in 2026.

Zachurie was a very charismatic man, known for his humor, smile(dimples) and kind-hearted nature. Zachurie always had a joke to make someone laugh and brighten their day. He also loved skating, watching movies and sports, especially his favorite team the New York Giants and loved to listen to 90’s music.

Zachurie was called home on March 23,2026. Zachurie is predeceased by his mother and father, Mabel Edmond and Oscar Ward, brother Ronald Edmond, sister’s Delois Edmond and Angela Edmond. 

Zachurie leaves to cherish precious memories his children daughter Shaná Morgan, son Brayon Alston, his sister Theresa Edmond, aunt Letha Cooper, uncle Thomas Edmond, “favorite niece” Zakenya Talbert, a host of nieces , nephews, family and childhood friends.
